Our Mission

To transform the current healthcare system into one that is both proactive and data-driven, enabling us to boost longevity and catch and treat illnesses earlier than ever before.

Our Credo

We believe that humanity is in the midst of a healthspan revolution.Converging exponential technologies such as artificial intelligence, genomics, CRISPR, gene therapy, cellular medicine, and sensors are allowing us to understand why we age — and perhaps how to slow, stop, and even reverse aging.

We concur with experts who predict that breakthroughs we make today will enable us to add decades onto the human healthspan.

Our mission at Fountain Life is to maximize the health and vitality of our members using advanced diagnostics to catch diseases before they manifest, enabling members to stay healthy and implement the longevity breakthroughs racing towards us before they show signs or symptoms.

We seek to extend member healthspan through “functional medicine-based protocols” plus a 150 Gb “Upload” of imaging, genetic and blood-related diagnostics. Our goal is to reliably predict and detect future diseases, thereby stopping and ultimately reversing its progression. The tools and technology of longevity already exist, and we’re utilizing them to return our members to peak performance.

Our Team

Fountain believes that there is no substitution for a brilliant and thoughtful medical team delivering healthcare services. As such, we have developed an innovative care model, utilizing a vertically integrated, 6-person ‘healthcare team’. Each Fountain Member is supported by a Concierge Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and a group of four health care coordinators and coaches.

These teams are trained to the highest standards at Fountain University in accordance with A4M, the Functional Medical Institute and other cutting edge partnerships.

Robert Hariri, MD, PHD

 
An accomplished surgeon, biomedical scientist and serial biomedicine and aerospace entrepreneur, Dr. Hariri pioneered the use of stem cells to treat a range of life-threatening human diseases. He was the 2018 recipient of the Pontifical Medal for Innovation (awarded by Pope Francis) and has received the Thomas Alva Edison Award for technological innovation twice (2007 and 2011). When he's not in the lab, you'll find him in the skies: he's a jet-rated commercial pilot with thousands of hours of flight time across 60+ military and civilian aircrafts.

Dr. Kapp is a dynamic entrepreneur who has founded several healthcare start-ups, ranging from surgical centers and hospitals to electronic health record systems and medical real estate developments. He is passionate about introducing cutting-edge technology to enhance both the facilities and operations of healthcare organizations. As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, former USAF Flight Surgeon, and type-rated jet aircraft pilot, Dr. Kapp has a unique combination of medical expertise and aviation knowledge.
Moreover, he is dedicated to advancing the new healthcare paradigm that focuses on the detection and reversal of asymptomatic diseases. Dr. Kapp is deeply committed to this cause and strives to improve patient outcomes by leveraging the latest advancements in medical technology and innovation.

President and CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries Inc., Todd is a proud investor in Fountain Life. Over the years he has continually demonstrated his passion for prevention, scientific advancement and education in the area of health and wellness. In 2006, Wanek received the Spirit of Life award from the City of Hope cancer research center for his fundraising efforts. Todd's passion for preventative medicine is an outstanding testament to Fountain Life's goal of helping our members live better for longer.

"Dr. M" is a global business leader, wellness crusader and technopreneur. Dr. Modi entered the wellness and healthcare space in 2015, with the aspiration of creating a world-class healthcare ecosystem in India. Dr. Modi's philosophy of living well "Beyond 100" and enjoying a happy, healthy, productive and independent life is what motivated the partnership with Fountain Life. Dr. Modi laid the foundation for his business empire with Modi Xerox, a joint-venture with Xerox, and he holds the titles of founder-chairman of Smart Group of companies, the founder of Global Citizen Forum, and the global chairman of the Foreign Investors India Forum.

Tobin Geatz

Corporate Development
Tobin Geatz, Corporate Director at Fountain Life and co-founder of Seahawk Innovation, has an extensive background in business start-ups, expansions, and technology applications. Geatz's previous experience includes roles as founder and chairman of the Board of PharmaTech Solutions and the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Inclinix, Inc. Geatz holds nine patents related to his degree in chemistry from West Virginia University, and specializes in introducing innovative technologies to improve operating processes.

Shawn Buchheit

Chief Operating Officer
Shawn Buchheit is an internationally renowned thought leader with 20 + years of experience in designing and launching transformative business development and client strategies for major brands in both the well-being, preventative medicine, and fitness sectors. In his position as a health and wellness influencer, Shawn’s work has helped to shift industry trends and values.
 As Chief Operating Officer of Fountain Life and Fountain Health Insurance, Shawn leads highly impactful business development, marketing and member experience initiatives with an emphasis on continuously enhancing member outcomes.

Helen Messier PhD, MD

Chief Medical and Science Officer
Dr. Helen Messier has devoted most of her career to harnessing data to close the translational gap in medicine. Dr. Messier received a Bachelor of Science (Honors in Genetics) and a PhD in Molecular Immunology from the University of Alberta. She completed post-doctoral studies at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology in San Diego, CA and received her MD from the University of Calgary. Dr. Messier is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Messier founded a national network of concierge medical practices in Canada, served as Medical Director of Genomics at Human Longevity Inc, and was the founding Chief Medical Officer of Viome. In addition to leading the company's clinical and scientific programs, Dr. Messier will establish Fountain Life University to train Fountain Life certified practitioners and lead the effort to gain insights and publish findings from Fountain Life's vast amount of data.

Alison Bruecken PHR, LCAM

Chief Experience Officer
Alison, with 25 years of hospitality and luxury service experience, joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company where she held 13 different roles throughout her tenure in various hospitality disciplines. Alison has extensive experience in leading organizational effectiveness and process improvement programs. Alison's leadership and drive for excellence resulted in numerous prestigious Five Star Five Diamond awards for The Ritz-Carlton. Alison is a graduate from Penn State University and studied at the University of Salamanca, Spain.

Carl Perrone

VP of Finance
Carl has an 18-year financial leadership career spanning industries like real estate, telecommunications, and software development. Recently, he aided growth at PlanSource and enabled an equity exit, and at Christie Lites, he facilitated a sale within a year. Beginning in 2016, Carl spent 5 years at Verizon, leading finance transformation projects. He holds a BSBA, MBA from the University of Central Florida, is a licensed CPA in Florida, and lives in Orlando with his family.
